Faewild Sunset Creations is run by independent artists Maeven Rose and Alexander Stringham.

Mae creates cute and witchy art revolving around the beauty of nature and the dichotomy of life and death. All of the prints and stickers are original digital artworks, all of the apparel is individually screenprinted by Mae herself, and every unique accessory is handmade with polymer clay, resin, and other mediums. Her art, apparel, and accessories are crafted with the intent to bring a little magic and beauty into people's lives.

Alexander makes original, one-of-a-kind, handmade dice sets out of resin and other inclusions. Each dice set takes a minimum of 24 hours to make and sometimes up to 5 days to design, cast, trim, polish, and paint! Each set is unique and some have fun inclusions such as 3D-printed, hand painted animal skulls, moss, dried flowers he personally and locally collects, or even real bees or spiders!

Maeven and Alex started their creative entrepreneur journey together in 2021

Maeven …

essentially spent all of her childhood, up until after high school believing that she was horrible at art and would never be an “artist”. In fact, it wasn’t until after she graduated from college in 2019, when one of her friends, Whitney, encouraged her to try out digital art. Whitney let Mae explore digital art with her Ipad, and Mae immediately made the decision to invest in an Ipad for herself so that she could continue learning. It only took Mae about a year after that to decide that she wanted to create products from her art and start selling them. She started with art prints, pins, and magnets, then continued to expand her art world with handmaking earrings, screen printing shirts and bags, and designing tons of stickers! All of this she never would have been able to do without the help, encouragement, and same passion for art from her partner Alexander.

Alexander…

never really had many consistent artistic outlets in his life, but that started to shift when he had learned about an unexpected love for the tabletop role playing game Dungeons & Dragons, something he never would have thought he would enjoy. Then in 2021, only a couple of years after he started playing, he learned that there's an entire hobby for making your own dice, and so he jumped head first into this new exciting world completely on a whim! He did all the research he could, got all the equipment he could need, and hasn't stopped making or learning since. Not only did this new hobby reveal to him a love for a craft, it also revealed a love for the community and in person events such as conventions and markets, allowing his outgoing nature to finally thrive!

Together…

they started going to farmers markets, finding wonderful customers who loved their art. It was so mind blowing for them to see their art bring joy to so many other people.

They’ve been doing the farmers markets and other events for 3 years now, and look forward to so many more events in their future. They want to meet as many of the people who love their art as possible. They are so grateful to everyone who has purchased anything from them; without you their dreams of being artists wouldn’t be possible.

Digital Art

I use Procreate to make my digital art pieces.

Screen Printing

I use my cricut machine to cut out my designs on vinyl, which I then use as the outline for my screen printing.

Dice

My dice are made using two part epoxy resin. The dice take anywhere from 2 to 5+ days to create. Many of them have fun inclusions such as 3D-printed animal skulls, moss, flowers, and even bees or spiders!

Earrings

My earrings are generally made of one of two materials: Polymer Clay or Resin.

Stickers

My stickers are all my original artwork. I order them through a third party so they can be high quality “weatherproof” stickers!

What’s Next?

Mae is interested in doing block printing and glass engraving. Alex has a prototype for some custom liquid core dice.
